It was an unusually cold night in August when founding members Marco, Matthew & Will got together & decided to bring back a sound that's been missing from the music scene.

Booming toms, walking bass lines, jumpin’ rhythms on guitar, roaring horn lines, & the smooth vocals of Tim Porter is what they found after a dedicated search to find the right musicians for this creation. This band has been fueled by the intensity that can only be felt when the perfect combination has been made.

Currently one of the hottest live swing bands to come out of the Southern California underground scene, Phat Cat Swinger attacks SWING head on & makes it their own.
